Job Description
The company is looking to hire one or more additional ColdFusion developers to build awesome internal and forward facing applications in a fast paced, fun, stable, and yet highly entrepreneurial environment in sunny Orlando, Florida. We are looking for someone with a couple years of real world experience developing web applications that is willing to hone their skills at the company’s direction and eventually attain guru status.
Desired Skills
For the application programming aspect of the position, we are looking for a candidate with a couple years of solid ColdFusion or equivalent skills in another comparable language (PHP, .Net, etc.). The individual should be able to handle form submissions, execute queries, loop through results, process numerical and string data, work with session and cookie tracking variables, and create logic based control structures, etc. The candidate should be able to format, comment, troubleshoot, explain, and debug their code.
For the database component, the company uses MS SQL 2005 and 2008 but is willing to consider developers with experience in a comparable product. Individual should be able to create data structures, use them in queries and stored procedures, and grasp the concepts of performance tuning and normalization.
From a user interface layer perspective, the developer should be able to produce quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code including rudimentary AJAX implementation.
Pluses
Experience in: HTML5, JQuery,Mobile(Android or iOS), rapid development methodologies, or server administration.
Compensation and Terms
- Full time in house position
- 45K-65K annual salary depending on useful capabilities
